God's moving in Ontario and Canada!

Moms In Touch has been seeing many changes, following God's leading as He moves across Ontario.  Here is some of the changes we're experiencing!

#1.  The Area Coordinator of Sarnia-Lambton, Tara Haves had to step down because of her starting school this fall, and Lynn Clever has taken over the position, who we knew was God's chosen woman for this position, but it was in His timing He made it happen.  And.... since then,
a) God has birthed a team forth to work with Lynn in running informational events and Moms Encouragement functions throughout the year.  Plus, He has given Lynn a Roster Manager, a Treasurer and Resource Manager, and the Hospitality Manager has stayed on board from the previous team, very happily and willingly. 
b) Lynn's area grew into Lambton and Kent counties, covering Chatham as well.  To encourage Lynn who doesn't know the Chatham area very well, He had someone call to ask her to come to do an informational in Chatham which presently has no schools covered with praying moms or grandmas!!! Lynn was taken aback and grateful for God's sovereignty and lovingkindness!

#2. Tara Haves has not disappeared from the scene, she has a heart to cover a municipality outside of London, ON with prayer, so after 4 years, God is moving Strathroy moms and grandmas together to start a highschool group AND a church based group which will cover the other schools in Strathroy!  Tara is very grateful to see the fruit come forth in Strathroy and excited to see more children and their schools covered with prayer!!!

#3.  Dianne Trinder who was the initial mom to get things rolling in Sarnia-lambton is now moving forth to travel across Ontario to encourage moms and grandmas across the province to pray together to cover their own children, eachothers' children and their schools in corporate, scriptural prayer!!! She is praying with her team as to where God wants them to travel to to share this to moms who are burning to pray for their children and the schools they go to!!

#4.  Dianne is travelling across a few provinces to go visit family, and while there, she is going to visit some moms in that area while she's there!  Please pray for her that new groups would be planted in the area she's visiting through the moms she's contacting!!   We pray that Canada catches the vision and schools all across the COUNTRY will be prayed for!!  This generation bombarded with media messages from all directions need our prayers more than any other generation in history...

Arise! Cry Out! Results

On November 14, 2009, moms and grandmas from 25 sites across Canada poured out their hearts like water before the LORD as they united via DVD in a 24 hour prayer wave with other moms and grandmas around the world for a once in a lifetime worldwide prayer event for our children and schools!

We praise God for uniting all these moms and grandmas.  We heard many testimonies of how ACO blessed every mom and grandma who came!  Some prayers were answered very quickly, even as soon as the next day.  For many women, it was like a balm of peace was instilled in their hearts and the power of prayer made an impact on every woman there!

We praise God too for the many SEEDS OF AWARENESS that were planted in many women and communities across Ontario and Canada.  95% of women we contacted had never even heard of Moms In Touch before and never knew that such a thing existed of praying intentionally for our children and their schools with sisters in Christ from different denominations!!!

We pray now that the seeds of awareness will be watered, and God will move women in communities across Ontario AND Canada to start a MITI prayer group for their children's schools. please

God uses UCB radio Canada to expand MITI

Praise God, Dianne Trinder, our Ontario Provincial Coordinator had an interview with UCB in Chatham this morning!  We pray that many moms and grandmas in the Chatham listening area (which covers from Leamington to almost London and everywhere in between!) will go onto the web site to find the church closest to them and surprise us on Saturday morning for the big, much anticipated "Arise! Cry Out!" prayer wave from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

And God used UCB in another way this past week.... a pastor from a church in Trenton, ON found us on the UCB web site, was curious about Nov 14, so she called Tara Haves, Sarnia-Lambton AC.  Tara had an extra DVD to share  for Nov 14, so she sent it onto the church in Trenton, who could not have gotten it through the MITI Headquarters, it was too late.  But our God is a sovereign God, and His ways are higher than our ways.... In spite of being at the last minute, the Trenton Church is equipped and ready to gather women to pray THIS Saturday!!  Go, God!!

13 Moms In Touch Ontario women gathered to support Fern Nichols who was interviewed last Wednesday, Nov 4.  Ladies from Guelph, Milton, Hamilton, Brantford, Alvinston and Sarnia gathered in the Green Room enjoying fellowship and networking, handing around Arise! Cry Out! posters to hang in their communities.  Many group pictures were taken, and Fern autographed many copies of her newest book "When Mothers Pray."

Fern gave a wonderful interview ~ she  was very composed, relaxed and sincere.  You could tell that she has done this before!!!  The set was amazing!  Very spacious, yet homey.  One giant room comprised of 5 sets that you see as backgrounds on the show regularly.
After the interview, we were taken on a tour of the building.  Little did we know of how many TV shows and ministries come out of the one building!!  Amazing!  Later, two of our group went to join the Crossroads staff for chapel, the others gathered for lunch in the atrium lobby.  Anne Mainse came to extend a warm hello and had a pleasant conversation with us.  A pleasant, wonderful day was had by all as a spark was ignited in each of our spirits, igniting us to keep moving MITI forward in Ontario and beyond!

Our Prayer for Moms and Grandmas Across Canada....

"Abba Father, in your great mercy, pour out on every woman of Canada a spirit of prayer. Stir in her a desperation that Your power and might be poured out on our next generation, igniting in her the fire of truth that PRAYER makes the way for You to release that power and might. May her heart and soul be like that of Nehemiah's when he said, "When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven, saying, 'O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love to those who love Him and obey His commands, let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayers Your servant is praying before You day and night...'" Draw my Canadian sister out on November 14, ready and willing to offer her sacrifice of prayer and worship to You, the one and only true God of the Universe. And bless her indeed for making this sacrifice!
